INTRODUCTION
You're planning to apply for planning permission (PC) for a new workshop, or to make modifications to buildings housing classified activities (ICPE). You're also in the midst of administrative procedures to obtain authorization to operate these activities.
For these two applications, addressed respectively to the prefecture – for the ICPE operating permit – and to the town hall where the project is located for the PC, provisions need to be made in the way these two procedures are carried out, particularly with regard to :
the concomitance of these two requests;
the documents required for each.
However, despite the independence of these two authorizations :
rules must be respected by the petitioner when submitting his application for a PC and his ICPE file;
provisions have been included in the appraisal procedure to ensure that both departments are kept informed of the progress of each of these two applications, and therefore of the conditions under which they will be issued.
