2. Change from authorization A to declaration D

Following the publication of a decree modifying the nomenclature, a classified facility subject to the authorization regime may be subject to the declaration regime.

This change in classification does not entail any special formalities on your part. The requirements of your prefectoral authorization order, which are more comprehensive and better adapted to your facility, continue to apply. Your prefectoral decree becomes an individual decree modifying the general requirements applicable to facilities subject to declaration. Please note that you can ask the prefect to reassess some of the requirements of your order.

In the event of any significant modification to the installations or their operation, or in the event of any extension, you must inform the Prefect, and your installations will come under the declaration regime.
