3. Our advice

3.1 Request confidentiality for some of your data to protect your trade secrets

If you do not wish to divulge certain emission data which could lead to the disclosure of manufacturing secrets or facilitate acts likely to harm public health, safety or hygiene, you can request that this information be kept confidential. This request can be made to the Prefect or the Inspection des Installations Classées. In this way, it will not be published on the national (and therefore European) register of polluting emissions and waste.
