1. Why make a declaration?
Monitoring environmental quality improvement objectives requires knowledge of pollutant releases. Data estimated by the operators of the facilities concerned are entered in a national register, GEREP, and consolidated at European level in registre des rejets et des transferts de polluants .
This declaration also makes it possible to simplify the transmission of emissions reports by grouping them together in a single annual declaration.
