2. Continuing the procedure

In the months that follow, the prefect will send you his final decision, and you then have two months to lodge an appeal with the administrative court.

Please note

The prefect has three months from receipt by the prefecture of the file forwarded by the investigating commissioner to rule on the request. However, should the Prefect be unable to reach a decision within this timeframe, he will set a new deadline by means of a reasoned order.
