Installation classified for environmental protection (ICPE)

Any industrial or agricultural operation likely to create risks or cause pollution or nuisance, particularly for the health and safety of local residents.

ICPE nomenclature

Catalog of activities covered by legislation on classified facilities, by heading, to determine the facility's classification status.

ICPE category

Identification number of a facility covered by legislation on classified installations. The nomenclature is based on two categories of headings: those relating to the use and storage of certain substances, and those relating to the type of activity.
