4. Mistakes to avoid

4.1 Don't confuse periodic inspections of classified installations subject to declaration with periodic inspections required under worker safety regulations.

These are in fact two different types of inspection. ICPE periodic inspections are designed to ensure that a classified facility subject to declaration complies with certain requirements of the general requirements decree. Periodic inspections under safety regulations are designed to check that certain equipment or aspects of the working environment are functioning properly in all workplaces (not just classified installations).
