1. Why carry out a hazard analysis?

This analysis has multiple objectives:

• Identify targets and issues related to the site (population, hospitals, drinking water supply catchments, etc.) (see Danger study: identifying external interests to be protected [FIC 0488] ).

• Identify external sources of aggression (airports or air traffic routes, PPRn or PPRt zones, etc.) and their hazard potential (see Hazard assessment: identifying external risks [FIC 0127]...
