2. Validate the classification of harmonized substances published in the CLP annex

When a substance has a harmonized classification published in Annex VI of the CLP Regulation, this classification is binding on you and must be taken by default.

To do this, check whether the substances listed in section 3 of your SDS have a harmonized classification on the ECHA website, using the following information in particular: their main identification numbers (CAS No., EC No., index No.) and their chemical name.
