IPPC thresholds and ICPE thresholds: linkages

The European Union has implemented a policy to reduce emissions from certain industrial facilities, through the directive 2008/1/CE du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 15 janvier 2008 directive on integrated pollution prevention and control (known as the "IPPC Directive").

These provisions have been transposed into French law, notably with the introduction of the ten-yearly operating report, and concern only certain activities above a certain threshold.
