Is it useful to provide for the presence of a lawyer as soon as the inspection visit is announced?
Not necessarily.
In practice, the inspection will focus on technical aspects. The presence of a lawyer is therefore not essential at this stage.
But following the inspection visit, it may be useful to have a "debriefing" with a lawyer, so as to establish a link between technical and legal requirements, and consider the best attitude to adopt going forward.
Is it possible to contest administrative sanctions imposed by the prefect?
