Where can I find the sanitary regulations for my department?
The departmental health regulations are available from local authorities, as well as from the Direction Départementale de la Cohésion Sociale et de la Protection des Populations DDCSPP (which replaces the DDASS), and in some cases directly from the websites of these bodies.
Is the RSD the same from one department to another?
Each département draws up its own departmental sanitary regulations. There are therefore as many departmental sanitary regulations as there are departments. To facilitate the establishment of these regulations in all départements, the French Ministry of Health has drawn up a standard "Règlement sanitaire départemental" (RSD). The majority of RSDs are based on the document drawn up by the Ministry of Health.
