2. Understanding the RSD departmental sanitary regulations
Before reviewing the RSD of the département in which your company is located, you should check that no thematic environmental regulations apply to you. Indeed, a rule defined in the RSD is only applicable if there is no specific decree covering the area that concerns you.
If no specific decree exists, and your operation is not an ICPE, the RSD is the reference text that imposes regulatory and technical obligations in terms of hygiene and sanitation.
