4.1 Non-exhaustive list of commercial products tested

Table 4 lists products marketed as odor masking or neutralizing agents. The recommended dilutions of these products in water vary from 0.1% to 5% on average; nevertheless, the flow rates of liquid sprayed or misted are high, so consumption is substantial and operating costs relatively high. In addition, some suppliers recommend an optimum droplet diameter for good performance. This generally corresponds to drops obtained by misting or atomizing the liquid (of the order of ten micrometers).
