Treatment solutions

Through measurements and modeling, odors likely to disturb neighbors have been catalogued, emission sources have been identified, actions to be taken have been targeted and, finally, specifications for consultation have been drawn up. The industrialist must now look for the treatment process best suited to his situation. There are three levels of intervention available:

• upstream odour treatment, which involves intervening in the process itself to prevent the formation of malodorous compounds;

• downstream odor treatment, by trapping or destroying malodorous compounds before they are released into the atmosphere;
