What type of compensatory measures can be envisaged?

Compensatory measures are not exhaustive and cannot be reproduced from one activity to another. There are two main families of compensatory measures:

  • technical compensatory measures (e.g. hooding equipment to limit noise pollution, installing an anti-pollution kit near chemical storage facilities to contain any spillage if necessary, etc.);

  • organizational compensatory measures (e.g. definition of work instructions, limiting access to certain areas, modifying production hours to avoid disturbing neighbors, etc.).
