5. Mistakes to avoid

5.1 Don't just report energy consumption data without analysis

The evolution of energy consumption (increase, decrease, stabilization) needs to be analyzed taking into account the evolution of your company (production, workforce, shutdown...). Simply reporting figures in a table (consumption over the last ten years) makes no sense. The aim of the operating report is to understand how your company has operated in terms of energy use, taking into account consumption levels, the context of your business and your approach to continuous improvement in energy management.
