6. Mistakes to avoid
6.1 Don't dissociate immediate and delayed inflammation
Without this distinction, it is impossible to differentiate between the probabilities of hazardous phenomena associated with immediate ignition (e.g. gas jet ignition) and delayed ignition (e.g. UVCE). Unless a mathematical model involving time is used, this distribution is generally difficult to define. In practice, we can find the following distributions (probability of immediate ignition/probability of delayed ignition): 30%/70% or 50%/50%.
