What are the penalties for failing to inform a successor?
Violation of the obligation to provide information under contract law may be sanctioned by :
annulment of the sale: the contract is deemed never to have been formed, with the buyer returning the goods and the seller refunding the price;
resolution of the sale: the effects of the sale are paralyzed retroactively, which can also lead to the buyer returning the goods and the seller returning the price;
payment of damages by the seller to the buyer.
Violation of the obligation to provide information laid down in the ICPE regulations may be punished by :
