9. Constructive measures

Constructive measures must be taken into consideration in cases where total or partial removal of the pollution source and its impact are technically and economically unacceptable. These measures should be considered in line with the results of the predictive RRA and validated by the final RRA.

9.1 Constructional measures to address inhalation health issues

When residual concentrations in soil gases generate excessively high concentrations in exposure media (indoor ambient air or outdoor air), it is still possible to consider building homes, provided that appropriate construction measures are taken.
