11. Residual risk analysis (RRA)
The residual risk analysis, an integral part of the analysis of health issues, is a quantitative assessment of health risks, carried out on the residual exposures identified through the conceptual design of the project in its final configuration, i.e. taking into account all project management measures and future use scenarios for the site and the environment.
In the case of projects, residual risk analysis will be carried out prospectively/predictively: it is therefore based on the use of models enabling residual exposure levels to be estimated by calculation (this is known as predictive RRA). The parameters and management measures whose implementation will determine the project's acceptability must therefore be identified so that they can be monitored during project implementation.
