4. Laboratory-scale experimentation
Laboratory-scale experimentation is designed first and foremost to select the oxidant and quantify the doses of reagents required, thus providing the first essential elements for sizing. On this scale, if possible, the oxidant consumption by the NOD water or soil matrix can also be evaluated. Finally, we can measure various parameters under controlled conditions, such as pH or temperature variations, or even quantify the release of metals if the soil is highly polluted with metals.
