4. Periodic occupational health and safety checks and inspections

Independently of the legislation governing classified installations, you may also be subject to periodic checks or inspections of equipment, materials, products or work situations in the interests of health and safety at work.

Please note

The terms "verification" and "control" refer to similar operations which involve examining the conformity of equipment, materials or situations with regulatory requirements.

The best-known inspections are those relating to electrical installations: employers must periodically inspect electrical installations, or have them inspected, to ensure that they are maintained in compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.
