2. Understanding the relationship between the ICPE nomenclature and the Water nomenclature
Under water-related regulations, certain activities, works or structures are subject to authorization or declaration, depending on their classification in the Water nomenclature. ICPEs are excluded from this nomenclature. They are subject only to the ICPE authorization, registration and declaration regimes set out in Title I er of Book V of Code de l’environnement .
