3. Biorealistic tensegrity systems

The first proposals for structural compositions, in line with a mechanical state taking up the characters of the tensegrity state, remained within a relatively "poor" framework from the geometric point of view, whether on the relational structure or on the dimensions of the elements. The elementary modules already presented are regular: all bars have the same length, all cables also have the same length. An analogy intended for application in biology, however, requires biorealistic tensegrity systems, characterized by greater morphological richness. Following an approach based on elementary physical models (clouds), a study based on the shape-finding method using dynamic relaxation generated complex tensegrity systems
