5. Conclusion

This article highlights the fact that information systems are likely to develop in areas where the monitoring and control of information flows are essential, such as production and support activities.

Production methods cover a wide range of methods and tools. The activities for which these methods and tools are deployed include methods and organization, production activities, logistics activities and quality control activities. Not all these methods and tools are supported by information systems. However, they can call on them as sources of information.

In short, applications that can support the collection, processing, capitalization and exchange of data can be implemented from an information system perspective. These applications are presented in three categories: :
