Maintenance; maintenance

All technical, administrative and management actions during the life cycle of an asset, designed to maintain or restore it to a state in which it can perform the required function.

Conditional preventive maintenance; condition-based maintenance

Preventive maintenance, which includes assessment of physical conditions, analysis and any resulting maintenance actions.

Maintenance préventive prévisionnelle; predictive maintenance

Conditional maintenance carried out on the basis of a forecast obtained from a repeated analysis or known characteristics and an assessment of the significant parameters of the asset's degradation.
