 INTRODUCTION

The modeling of the static response of the clutch mechanism was the subject of the article . The modeling of the dynamic response will be dealt with in this second article.

Car interiors are becoming increasingly soundproofed, and engine noise can no longer be heard, but other noises are now perceptible and harmful. A description of the system from a vibratory point of view is therefore essential, and in particular that of the hydraulic control system, which will be dealt with in the first part of this text.

Vibrations from the engine are mainly torsional vibrations. To filter them out, a vibration damper must be inserted between the flywheel and the gearbox. The operating principle of these filters will be the subject of the modeling envisaged in the second part of this text.

The complete study of the subject includes the articles :

—  - Dry clutches. Static response modelling ;

— BM 5 856 - Dry clutches. Modeling dynamic response (this article).
