3. How do I recharge an EV?
EV users need to be able to recharge their EVs at home and when on private and/or business trips. The method to be used depends on the type of charging station installed at the recharging site.
3.1 Mode 1
Location: home. Power source: AC.
The EV is connected to the electrical grid via a standard household socket and power cable. This is the most basic recharging method imaginable. However, it is strongly discouraged, as overheating of the cable could lead to electrocution or fire.
