To guarantee a relevant and usable diagnosis of energy installations:

  • adopt a global approach, giving priority to the entire energy system before analyzing individual components;

  • involve operators in the process, as their behavior has a significant influence on energy performance (in addition, their feedback can be used in the FMECA process);

  • cross-reference several investigative methods (documentary analysis, measurements, modeling) to ensure the reliability of technical analyses and conclusions;

  • systematically quantify the impact of identified faults in energy, environmental and economic terms;...
