2.1 Detect the main failures, implement the main detection modes

The main technical faults encountered during the operation of an energy plant can be summarized as follows.

  • Clogged equipment: clogged heat exchangers, air, oil or fuel filters leading to excessive consumption and premature wear.

  • Fluid circuit leakage: generating internal or external leaks on equipment, or leaks on pipes often requiring plant shutdown.

  • Parasitic vibrations: generated by defective parts, they reduce the overall efficiency of equipment and warn of possible breakage of a mechanical part.
