5. Set up preventive maintenance

Synthesize all diagnostic information and recommendations using the FMECA method for preventive maintenance.

Next, construct a table representing the initial diagnostic data for an energy system by successively identifying :

  • the system component under consideration ;

  • the function(s) of this component ;

  • Potential failure mode(s) (remember that maintenance involves analyzing potential failures, not just observed ones);

  • the cause(s) associated with these failures ;

  • Note whether a fault tree is to be constructed from the various causes identified;

  • the effects of failure ;

  • G, O, D, C (parameters: severity, occurrence,...
