4. How should the project be funded?

Project funding may come from government grants and corporate contributions. Grants from the government and/or local authorities are generally awarded to ensure compliance with directives or regulatory requirements. Indeed, energy savings and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions are explicitly included in the CPE and CEM. Subsidies may therefore be granted when these contracts are efficiently implemented. We will not detail them here, as they are often local and temporary.
