3. How do I obtain certification?
One of the mandatory conditions for certification by an independent third-party certifier is proof of continuous improvement in energy performance within the company. The EMS must therefore be reviewed regularly by management, to assess its effectiveness and relevance. This review always represents the end of a cycle and, at the same time, the starting point for the new cycle. Now that this condition has been met, let's look at the various phases involved in obtaining certification.
3.1 Literature review
This can be done face-to-face or remotely. The aim is to verify that the documented information is compliant and sufficient to declare that the EMS is eligible for certification.
