4. Which certificate should I apply for?
Throughout this document, we have sometimes talked about ISO 50001:2011, and sometimes about ISO 50001:2018. ISO 50001:2018 is a revision of the previous one, which has focused on key points such as:
roles, responsibilities and authorities ;

actions to address risks and opportunities ;

monitoring, analysis, measurement and evaluation.
