5. How to finance the process?
To finance the ISO 50001 certification process, the French government has set up a program to promote energy efficiency. The PRO-SMEn bonus is a national subsidy for companies committed to ISO 50001 certification. The bonus is equal to 20% of the annual energy expenditure of certified sites. Until further notice, it can amount to up to 40,000 euros.
Registration for the PRO-SMEn 2018-2022 program closed on July 1, 2022. We therefore need to check whether it can be renewed and, if so, adjust to the new timetable.
