7. Mistakes to avoid
7.1 Don't underestimate the time it takes to implement certification
If you are not already ISO 14001 certified, and if you are a large company, you will need at least 18 months to complete the project. If, under these conditions, the certification concerns several sites, you will need to add a further 2 to 4 months. We recommend using the Project Gantt tool to establish a realistic timetable.
