7. Mistakes to avoid

7.1 Don't neglect round-trip biogas networks

If it's impossible to inject into the gas network (network saturation, non-compliant gas, breakdown at the injection station), you can opt for round-trip biogas networks. The interface between the injection station and the biogas production unit is a flange located at the injection station. The return piping at the injection station is affected on the outward side by the biomethane and on the return side by the non-compliant biomethane or the problem at the injection station. Piping, valves and instrumentation are used to manage non-compliant biomethane. These networks can be ordered as an option from the supplier of the biogas production plant or from a piping company.
