2. What are the regulations governing the nature of inputs?

2.1 Decree no. 2011-1594 of November 21, 2011

The décret n° 2011-1594 du 21 novembre 2011 on the conditions of sale of biomethane to natural gas suppliers sets out the categories of products and waste that can be used to produce biomethane under the support scheme provided for by law. It sets out the clauses that must be included in the purchase contract. A decree issued by the Ministers for Energy and the Environment will specify the nature of the products used for production, while a simple decree will specify and complete the content of the purchase contract.
