9. Insulation fasteners
The insulation must be fixed to the building's supporting structure in accordance with the insulation manufacturer's instructions. The fixing devices used may be specific to the type of insulation being fixed. Certain normative texts, such as the Cahiers du CSTB or DTU 45-4, specify a few minimum rules on fastening elements (e.g., minimum flange diameter) or installation (e.g., minimum fastener density).
