The future of concrete temperature monitoring and thermal control methods lies in promising technological developments. These advances will improve the accuracy and efficiency of monitoring systems, while simplifying their implementation on construction sites.

The concrete hydration process can be divided into several stages: pre-induction, dormancy period, strength gain, and stable state. The heat released can be evaluated experimentally, through adiabatic or semi-adiabatic tests, or through numerical modeling.
