When selecting a dowel, it's important to be aware of its application conditions (type of installation, model used).

Dowel selection can be determined through the following process:

• type of material (solid, hollow) ;

• design loads (light, medium, heavy) ;

• installation method (through or in front of the part to be fastened) ;

• anchor removability requirement ;

• match the ankle's technology to the above criteria.
