6. Vacuum concrete dewatering
The purpose of vacuum dewatering is to remove the excess water that concrete needs to be transported, poured and worked, but which does not participate in the hydration reactions of the cement present. In addition, it is important to eliminate this excess water, as it can generate matrix porosity that limits the development of the concrete's mechanical performance and durability.
6.1 Principles of spinning
The expulsion of excess water creates an internal vacuum in the concrete, so that atmospheric pressure acts on the surface of the concrete.
