ABSTRACT
The evolution of knowledges of concrete chemistry and development of new technologies in the execution of works give solutions to special concreting operations. This article deals with the case of sprayed concrete (dry or wet system), concreting works in large structures. The case of cold or hot weather concreting is also detailed in terms of adaptation of materials or organization.

INTRODUCTION
This fourth article deals with concreting operations carried out under special conditions and to meet specific specifications:
spray-applied concretes on new sites (tunnel galleries or rock wall reinforcement), or on repair sites (buildings, engineering structures or technical galleries);
common concretes used in severe climatic conditions (hot or cold);
mass-cast concretes (parts of structures or dams);
concrete placed in water;
and the special technique of improved concrete using vacuum dewatering.
