4. Front of facilities and passenger terminal area

4.1 Installation front

The facility frontage is the boundary with the runway below which no building may be erected.

Its aim is to preserve the number and size of aircraft movements and parking facilities that are planned for the future development of the airport.

Figure 12 summarizes how the frontage of installations is determined in relation to a runway axis.

The minimum distance between the front of the installations and the runway centreline is the sum of :

  • the minimum distance a between the centre line of the runway and the centre line of the service...
