3.1 Factory or workshop assembly
Some geomembranes can be assembled in a factory or workshop, in the form of large sheets obtained by joining the strips together. The assembly shop may be part of the sheet production plant, or may be independent. The way in which the strips are assembled depends on the type of geomembrane (see § 3.3 ).
