Fire safety in ERP - CTS type establishments - Travelling tents, marquees and structures

In addition to the general provisions for establishments open to the public (ERP), special rules must be applied in CTS establishments, depending on the number of people admitted. These rules mainly concern :

• fittings ;

• security services and alarm systems;

• electrical installations ;

• rescue resources.

CTS ERP establishments include the following:

• marquees, tents and mobile structures ;

• marquees, tents and extended structures ;

• multi-storey buildings.

Because of their different designs and uses, the rules to be applied to each are highly specific in many respects.
