4. Needs and constraints formalized in specifications

4.1 General

Prior to any project, it is necessary to draw up specifications defining the general conditions of use.

The provisions to be specified include :

  • requirements to be met (power, plant availability, maintainability, operation, etc.) ;

  • reference standards and regulatory texts ;

  • supply network characteristics ;

  • the power quality required for specific uses of electricity;

  • installation and environmental constraints.
