4.1 Presentation of the problem

Passive trajectography using two-azimuth measurements (TP2A) assumes that two geographically separated observers each acquire an azimuth track relative to the same source. It should be pointed out that the measurements may not be synchronous, and that the observers may each have their own track (figure 10 ) (e.g. two antennae carried by different vessels), or they may have the same route (a linear antenna towed behind a vessel itself equipped with a hull antenna).
