Step 2: Specifications

This specification stage involves studying and taking into account the functional requirements (expectations) and constraints of users of the information system or software.

This study is divided into two parts:

• functional specifications, which identify and define the business needs and expected benefits (expectations) of future users;

• technical specifications, detailing the technologies to be implemented: technical architecture and hardware resources.
